Having been lucky enough to be on a site visit when Peter was treating the team to a home-made lunch I can attest to his cooking skills. If you're ever in need of mini-Shepherd's pies, in pastry cases with piped potato toppings then Peter is definitely the one to go to!

I'm really looking forward to doing some videos like this ourselves. I think ours are going to be a bit more casual & ad hoc though. Not only am I planning on getting some Audioboos from our members but capturing some of the work I do with them on the training & implementation front.

If there's anything you'd like me to capture as I'm out and about with Synuron's members then leave a comment to let me know.

I'll be doing a mix of mobile & mini-cam footage along with some studio based sessions with @philcampbell in the Nottingham fibrecamp studio

Sian, thank you for identifying this issue, and for involving me in a discussion about it.

It is a subject of some concern to me just now as I know of organisations that are at real financial risk and individuals whose employment position is compromised by assurances and assumptions that are not defensible because they have not been thought through from a "first principles" perspective.

It seems to me that the drive is to effect change through a simplistic re-distribution of the financial cake, with little insightful consideration of the contractual employment position, statutory employment rights and attendant risk analysis. HR leadership needs to be knowledgeable and impactful on this issue, and not allow itself to be sidelined into a mute implementer of a risky project plan. I'd be interested to explore this issue further.
